At a press conference
this afternoon En Fuego Softball Club announced a new interim
manager. At
approximately 3:45PM Vince Petruzzi, En Fuego’s General Manager,
confirmed the rumors. Craig
Watkins, En Fuego’s pitcher, will be replacing Jason Teague as En
Fuego’s new manager for the remainder of the season after Teague
abruptly retired leaving the team he established in the fall of
1995. Jason Teague was
quoted as saying; “I hope Craig Watkins can lead this talented
team to the championship!” As
it stands, the team is in first place!!
This official statement comes as a shock to the softball
world, however, the team is confident that they will continue to
dominate because they are …EN FUEGO!
